I’ve been a low carb person for many years. I lost about 25 pounds on Atkins a long time ago (before Dr. A’s New Diet Revolution) and kept most of it off. In the past couple of years, though, I started to see it creeping back on. I know exactly why – too many low-carb specialty products (bars, candy, etc.) and way too many calories. I would eat until I was stuffed, especially at night. I could eat a huge bacon avocado cheeseburger with lots of mayo for dinner, and a big scoop of peanut butter mixed with cream for dessert! Not exactly conducive to losing that last 15 pounds I always wanted to lose. read more here...
