Recipe: Cheesy Chili Burgers on a Stick




Cheesy Chili Burgers on a Stick

Ingredients (makes 8)
16 oz extra lean ground beef
2 egg whites, beaten
1/2 cup shredded spicy Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 cup dry grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup canned green chile peppers, finely minced
1/4 cup chopped parsley or cilantro
1 teaspoon each chili powder, garlic powder & onion powder
1/2 teaspoon each ground cumin, pepper & salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Mix all ingredients in a medium bowl. Divide into 8 portions and form around a popsicle stick (slightly square makes easier grilling). Grill each side 2 minutes or until browned and cooked to desired doneness.
